Hyundai Heavy Industries chooses Top Side Offshore Technology
November 11th, 2011 – Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. (HHI) based in Ulsan, South Korea, has selected Top Side Offshore Technology - the Netherlands, to supply the full CCTV package for the four Ultra Deepwater Drill Ships HHI is building for Noble Drilling.

All eyes on safety
May 3, 2011 - Extra pairs of eyes – in this case mechanical – are watching out for safety lapses on floating platforms and rigs, according to Netherlands-based Top Side Offshore Technology.
Top Side’s cameras can be found on deep-water drilling rigs and floating production platforms, including FPSOs. The company has sold cameras to Allseas, Petrobras, Maersk Drilling, Transocean, Diamond Offshore, Ensco and SBM. Shell has installed dozens of different sizes and types of cameras everywhere from the tip of crane booms to the monkeyboard on its tension-leg platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. “We supplied some equipment to BP Mad Dog (spar), we did the Noble Danny Adkins, the Noble Jim Day,” Top Side managing director Arie Rolloos said today at the OTC conference in Houston. “We did Thunder Horse.”

Largest CCTV system installed on Noble Paul Wolff
July 14, 2009 - Top Side Offshore Technology has successfully commissioned their largest CamPro IP rig cctv system so far. The system is installed on the semi submersible drilling rig Noble Paul Wolff and contains 60 cameras, 9 monitors stations and a 4 Terabyte Network Video Recorder. In this project, the driller cctv, marine cctv and surveillance cctv system are combined into one package. The CamPro IP technology made it possible that Noble now has only 1 system instead of 3. The installation took place during the shipyard period in Angra dos Reis, Brazil.

Large order Seadrill
March 9, 2009 - Seadrill is going to outfit all their cranes in the fleet with crane boom tip camera systems. Netherlands based Top Side Offshore Technology has been selected to supply the Orlaco cctv product. This 34 camera system project is part of a refurbishment program to improve the safety level on board the Seadrill drilling rigs. Top Side Offshore Technology has been chosen as supplier, because of the quality of the equipment and their impressive track records in the oil & gas industry.
