Safeload Indicators for Overhead and Portal Cranes

The hook load is sometimes measured by load cells. The data from the load cells are processed by a central processor unit (CPU), which shows the wanted information on a digital display in front of the crane driver. Simple systems are also available without displays. Mechanical systems are also available.
